ORLANDO — Are you looking for a job, and in love with the Orlando area’s massive theme parks? Ever wonder what it would be like to work at one of them?
It turns out one of Central Florida’s major theme parks has just announced that they have some truly “splashy” jobs available, and will be hosting a job fair next week.
SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove and Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark, just announced the theme park giant has about 300 jobs to fill, which are expected to last through the summer tourist season.
In a news release issued today, SeaWorld announced that all three of its Orlando parks would be looking to fill a variety of positions, including lifeguards, park quality hosts, food service attendants, park operations hosts, games/vending hosts, and prep cooks.
These seasonal positions will pay between $8.30-$10 per hour.
SeaWorld is looking for applicants who are at least 18 years old. Those hired will be “eligible for a number of benefits,” SeaWorld noted in its release, “such as free entry to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark, park tickets for friends and family, and access to numerous team member events.”
Anyone interested in landing one of these jobs should apply online first at seaworldjobs.com, then plan on attending a special hiring event on Thursday, May 1, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at SeaWorld Orlando’s Ports of Call facility.
Enter through SeaWorld’s main tolls entrance, then park in front of Ports of Call.
