ORLANDO — The internationally acclaimed show FEMMILLENNIAL by Kylie Thompson Dance invites you to enter a world of enthralling movement and thought-provoking investigation. This 55-minute contemporary dance theater piece is scheduled to enthrall audiences around the world during its 2023 tour, with the Orlando Fringe Festival serving as its first stop, following a triumphant premiere at the Toronto Fringe Festival.

Kylie Thompson, a Canadian choreographer, developed “Oh, Yes,” her critically acclaimed prior work, into FEMMILLENNIAL, which she also designed. Femmillennial explores the junction of the current femme character with the development of generations through its provocative moniker. What Do We Value As Work? is the central query it raises. Audiences are encouraged to experience this enthralling world of dance, packed with rich symbolism and potent storytelling, through the expressive movements of three virtuoso dance artists from Toronto—Kiera Breaugh, Dana MacDonald, and Claire Whitaker.

What Can Audiences Expect From Femmillennial?

Although the dancers are virtually intertwined during the performance, they each embody the spirit of a different one-woman act. Through this contrast, the fundamentals of femininity, the difficulties of generational communication, and the various roles that women play in society are examined. FEMMILLENNIAL aspires to elicit thoughtful contemplation and start important discussions regarding the experience of modern women.

FEMMILLENNIAL is ready to enthrall audiences with its fusion of artistic ability, physicality, and provocative subjects as it sets out on its international tour. The FEMMILLENNIAL production by Kylie Thompson Dance is a must-see event that will enthrall and inspire you, regardless of whether you are an avid dance aficionado or just looking for an engaging and immersive experience.

Get ready to be captivated by these dancers’ incredible talent as they bring to life a moving story that appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
