WINTER PARK — Darryl Reuben Hall recently draw high praise for his role as Four Eyed Moe in the Winter Park Playhouse’s sold-out production of Five Guys Named Moe. Now Hall is heading back to the Playhouse in September to introduce his new Solo Cabaret show.
I Booked The Job! is Hall’s debut cabaret show at the Playhouse, part of the theatre’s ongoing Spotlight Cabaret Series, held in the main lobby. Hall will be joined by Pianist Christopher Leavy, the Playhouse’s music director, for the performances on Wednesday, Sept. 25 and Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

What is the Solo Cabaret I Booked The Job?
Hall is returning to Winter Park for a solo cabaret that will take audiences “through his storied life as a professional actor and feature some of his career highlights on Broadway, Off- Broadway, national tours and regional theatre,” the Playhouse noted.

The cabaret will include popular Broadway tunes such as “Too Darn Hot” from Kiss Me Kate, “So You Want to Meet The Wizard” from The Wiz, “Bui Doi” from Miss Saigon and “Summertime” and Porgy and Bess.
